With all the juggling we do every day, it’s easy to neglect the most important person in our lives.
The. Most. Important.
Here is a list of 10 easy things you can do (guilt-free) to show yourself some love:
- Rest when you’re tired.
- Cry when you’re sad.
- Go for a walk.
- Listen to the birds.
- Stretch (or exercise).
- Wear your favorite perfume.
- Listen to music.
- Pick (or buy) yourself some flowers.
- Take a bath.
- Read a book.
It’s important to look after ourselves. So take the time!
I feel quite proud of myself. I manage most of these at least some of the time. We should give ourselves permission to just be sometimes, shouldn’t we?

Amen to that! As for me, I have to work on #2 since I find myself holding back tears rather than letting them flow. I think it must upset my chemical balance somehow….water everything down inside.

Oh I’m the complete opposite. Cry at the drop of a hat! And then what a mess my face is. What’s worse? A watery inside or a watery outside? All sounds a bit sloppy to me.
